Adventure Tour

For those wanting more time on the Segway and looking for a more unusual view of the castle.

We start with an introduction to the Segway, which is then followed by one to one training. Once all members of the tour party are confident we depart on the 60 minute tour.

The majority of the tour takes place in the grounds outside of the main castle gardens, and includes a couple of views of the castle, one of which is particularly stunning, as you will be at the top of a hill looking down onto the front of the castle set in amongst the trees with the Pilgrim Way as it’s backdrop.

Please note
That we do not operate a Rally/Race experience. If you wish to be competitive or ride aggressively, we recommend you do not book at tour with us as you will be disappointed.

Availability
Tours operate from the 1st February to the 30th November.

Duration
Please allow at least 1 hour 30 minutes for this activity.

Numbers
Each tour is limited to a maximum of 8 people. For larger groups please contact us via email.

Restrictions
The minimum age is 13 years old. Riders under 18 must be accompanied on the tour by a responsible adult who is over 18. Riders must also fall within our weight restrictions as detailed in our terms and conditions. Refunds will not be issued if you make a booking for riders who fail to meet our terms and conditions.

Clothing Required
Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Sensible footwear is recommended. You may not be permitted to ride in flip flops. We do not provide any wet weather clothing.

Spectator Information
Spectators are welcome during training period. We do ask that young children are kept under control and are not permitted to run around whilst the Segways are operating.

Other Information
A Castle entry ticket is not required to take the Segway Tour. You will only require a ticket if you wish to visit the Castle and Grounds separately.
